Shore Celebrates Record HSC Results

The academic prowess of Shore’s Class of 2023 stands as a testament to the SchooI’s commitment to excellence. In a historic achievement these HSC results are by a range of measures, the best the School has achieved in its 134-year history.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of this academic triumph are the 434 top band results (Band 6 and E4 results), a demonstration of the students’ dedication and determination to do well.

An impressive 66 HSC Showcase nominations for practical submissions, further underscores the breadth and depth of the talents nurtured within the student body.

Additionally, Shore produced:

• three duces (George Chen, Angus Holliday and Charlie Ashton all received an ATAR of 99.9)
• 22 all-round achievers
• 17 students with an ATAR of 99 or above
• 32% of students with an ATAR of 95% or higher
• eight state rankings and;
• a median ATAR of 91.90, a remarkable achievement for a truly comprehensive School.
