Volunteering plays a pivotal role in the School and helps foster a robust parent community. It sends a positive message to our children that we consider School to be a worthwhile cause and shows children the importance of participating in the larger community. Volunteering can take many forms, including scribing, Northbridge Saturday canteen, sale of second-hand textbooks, sale of crested goods and library and School museum and archives assistance.
To ensure a smooth and welcoming volunteer experience there are three simple steps all volunteers must adhere to prior to volunteering at Shore. In line with Child Protection protocol and to ensure we provide a safe space for all staff, students and community members, Shore recommends that all volunteers complete a Working with Children Check (WWCC) through Service NSW. NB. Only those 18 years and over are required to gain a WWCC. The process is straightforward and free for volunteers and you will be required to produce personal identification. The easiest place to start is online at ServiceNSW. Click below to begin your application.
Visit Service NSW online Once you have your WWCC, fill out the Volunteer Registration Form at the bottom of this page.
