Shore students Jacques C and Charlie C represented the School with distinction at the NSW Junior State Surfing Titles in Coffs Harbour last week, part of the VW State Classic for 2025, an event uniting five Surfing NSW titles under one banner for the first time.
Jacques competed in the U/14 division, progressing through a highly competitive field to reach the final. In an exceptional display of focus and skill, he claimed victory on Sunday to become the NSW U/14 State Champion, a remarkable achievement that reflects his commitment and talent in the sport.
In the U/18 division, Charlie relished the opportunity to compete at this elite level, gaining valuable experience and showcasing his ability against some of the best young surfers in the state. His performance reflected Shore’s growing presence in the surfing community and the enthusiasm our students bring to Co-Curricular sport.
