Shore acknowledges the Cammeraygal people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our School stands. We honour the wisdom of and pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We are committed to the journey of walking together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through respectful relationships and two-way learning.

Reconciliation Action Plan

Reconciliation at Shore is not a project but a responsibility shared by every community member. Our RAP reflects a vision for a more inclusive, just and reconciled Australia, beginning within our School.

Shore’s commitment to reconciliation is grounded in our Christian purpose and values of respect, humility, and compassion. Our Reconciliation Action Plan Committee are working to create a school-wide sustainable and practical framework to promote cultural learning and truth telling across all year levels, deliver professional learning in culturally responsive practice, engage with Elders and community leaders as cultural advisors, and embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge across the curriculum and beyond.

Community Partnerships

Grounded in respect for Country and community, our Indigenous Programme grows from shared responsibility, walking alongside families, Elders, community organisations, and Indigenous knowledge holders.

Through our partnership with the Yadha Muru Foundation, Shore is engaged in a City-Country exchange with Tennant Creek High School in the Northern Territory. This partnership promotes meaningful two-way cultural exchange through mutual learning and connection. We aim to enrich both School communities by sharing knowledge, resources and professional development through respectful, sustainable relationships with the Tennant Creek community.
