Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camp 2026 - Applications for Campers Now Open!

03 Mar 2026

Since 1999, the Shore and Pymble Ladie’s College Sony Foundation Camp has provided children with disability the opportunity to enjoy a supported holiday experience filled with fun, connection, and care.

Over four days, children take part in inclusive and engaging activities designed to suit their interests, strengths, and needs. The camp is built around joy, dignity, and belonging, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and celebrated.

At the same time, Year 11 student volunteers learn the importance of empathy, patience, and service through meaningful relationships with the children they support.

A Supportive Experience for Families

We recognise that raising and caring for a child with additional needs is a journey filled with love, advocacy, coordination, and often exhaustion. Sony Foundation Camp exists to support families as well as children.

While your child is at camp, you can feel reassured knowing they are:

  • Safe and supervised at all times
  • Supported 2:1 by trained student companions, and relief companions
  • Cared for by experienced teachers and volunteers
  • Supported by an on-site medical team
  • Included, respected, and encouraged

For many families, Sony Foundation Camp provides rare time to rest, reconnect with siblings, or simply pause from the constant demands of care.

“For the first time in years, we had a few days to rest knowing our child was safe and happy.”

“My child felt accepted, included, and confident. That means everything.”
