Dear Shore community
I am delighted to share the outstanding achievements of our Year 12 students in the 2025 HSC. Building on the success of previous years, this cohort has once again delivered outstanding outcomes across all measures, setting new benchmarks for excellence.
Highlights include:
- 26 students were named HSC All-round Achievers
- Shore recorded a school-best 465 top band (Band 6 and E4) results
- Seven boys achieved state rankings in subjects including Ancient History, Drama, Geography, Economics, PDHPE, Chemistry, and French Continuers
- A median ATAR of 91.13 reflects the strength of the entire cohort
- 117 students (52 percent) scored above 90
- 58 students (26 percent) achieved above 95
- 15 boys earned ATARs above 99, led by School Dux Eric Qiao (99.90), followed closely by Connor Fung, Jonathan Lim, and Anderton Stock (99.85)
These results are a testament to the dedication of our students, the tireless commitment of our teachers, and the unwavering support of families. While the headlines celebrate top scores, we are equally proud of the many personal bests achieved - each one representing resilience, hard work, and growth.
