On the Saturday 23 March, the Shore Boat Club competed in the annual Head of the River regatta over the 2000m course built for the Sydney Olympics.

It was a great day for the School community with Shore returning four of the six trophies that were on offer, the boys won:

the Penrith City Cup for the GPS 4th IV
the Father Gartland Trophy for the GPS 3rd IV
the LC Robson Trophy for the GPS 2nd VIII, and
the Major Rennie Trophy for the GPS 1st VIII

Out of the 11 races contested on the day, Shore won 7 and finished 2nd in the others, a brilliant set of results!

Congratulations to all our boys for their efforts and grateful thanks to the Shore community for their ongoing support of rowing.
