Sony Foundation Children's Holiday Camp

Monday 7 to Thursday 10 December 2015

Shore and Pymble Ladies’ College are proud to co-host a four day ‘live-in’ holiday camp for children with physical, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore) is an independent, Anglican, day and boarding school for boys, located in North Sydney. Shore stands on a site of just over eight hectares on a hill-top two hundred metres from North Sydney railway and bus station. It has magnificent views of the Harbour and the City of Sydney.

Pymble Ladies’ College is a non-selective, independent school for girls and is situated in the Upper North Shore.

Shore and Pymble provide happy, safe and nurturing environments offering more opportunities to pursue a balanced education encompassing life skills, personal development, physical well-being, creative fulfilment and academic excellence.

Sony Camp will be hosted at Shore School with accommodation for the children and their dedicated companions provided in the Boarding Houses.


Sony Camp will

  • Provide children with a range of fun-filled activities to excite, amaze and amuse.

  • Offer respite care to families in the busy lead up to Christmas.

  • Provide our senior students an opportunity to learn through serving others.

  • Provide a fun camp for children with disabilities at no cost to parents.


The Campers

  • Sony camp will provide 25 places for school aged children from Years 2 and above, who have an intellectual, physical and/or developmental disability.

  • Sony Camp will be accommodated in the high quality Boarding Houses of Shore.

  • Each of our campers will be supported by two dedicated and caring companions at all times.
